I have been meaning to update this, bring it up to ASP.NET Core RC2 and Angular2 RC.3 - but I simply have not had time. I will get to this as soon as I am available. I strongly encourage any and all community members willing to help out to fix this and generate a pull request!

So sorry for the delay, I have been swamped lately... I started working to fix this and realized that this project is really outdated and was based on Beta versions of Angular2 and RC1 of ASP.NET Core. Since then both frameworks have come a long way, I have intentions of creating a new MVC 6, Angular2 on ASP.NET Core app example as soon as I have time. Thanks

I love the stucture on this project so I really want it to work. I know you said you want to update it and that would be great but I know time is never plentiful, do you know of any other similar tutorials/guides that could help me getting started.

Right now I get a:
No service for type 'Microsoft.Extensions.PlatformAbstractions.IApplicationEnvironment' has been registered.
