As a MuSR scientist, I would like to be able to enable the IOC to check whether a recondense is required and if it is the IOC recondenses automatically. I would also like to be able to define the values used for autorecondense condition checks.

Acceptance criteria:

  • When recondense required conditions are met then a recondense is triggered
  • When recondense required conditions are not met then a recondense is not triggered

Recondense conditions:

All of the first set of conditions must be met:

  • ITC503 is using the control channel chosen for the He3PotLo
  • He3PotLo Setpoint < Use He3 below operational parameter defined by user/scientist
  • Autorecondense enabled by user/scientist

One of the second set of conditions must be met:

  • Sorb temperature check is enabled (by user/scientist) and Sorb temperature > condense threshold for the sorb temperature defined by the user/scientist
  • He3Pot temperature check is enabled (by user/scientist) and He3Pot temperature > condense threshold for the He3 Pot temperature defined by the user/scientist
  • Temperature error check is enabled (by user/scientist) and the difference between He3Pot temperature setpoint and He3Pot actual temperature > condense threshold for temperature error defined by the user/scientist
