JabRef version

Commit JabRef@d58ae6c

Operating system

Windows 10

Details on version and operating system

No response

Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

  • I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
  • I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. Enable AI in preferences
  2. Change language in preferences from English to German
  3. After restart of JabRef, AI settings will reset and RAG - minimum score and Temperature will be empty. See issue "Save" button for preferences not functioning JabRef/jabref#11663
  4. Have group with entries that have attached files
  5. Right click on group and click on "Chat with Group"

Result:

  • A notification will emerge at the bottom left of the window. If the user hovers over it, it will vanish after a second or two, which is not enough time to read it.
  • The notification will also feature whitish text on white background (regardless of light or dark theme), which makes it even harder to read.

image

yellow on white is not a good contrast. --> use organge or some other background color (Luminance difference)
