The idea is to make PCDM a more restrictive Ontology that can be used to build a structured data model that aids in resource creation and discovery

@ruebot, neither @DiegoPino nor I can fork to the Islandora-CLAW organization. So could you do that please.

Thinking about this more. Do we want to fork PCDM as an organization, or should each of us just be participating in the PCDM community individually? ...or is the idea if a bunch of us want to work on a pull request, we can submit it from this fork?

Correct (last idea was my idea). As PCDM is an islandora claw concern we should try/test and contribute back as project from this fork. I think it could be nice if we did so, since most of the contributions (if accepted) will have an impact on our code, so moreover they will come from an internal talk as we do each claw call. But if you all think we should do this as individuals i'm ok also.

I'm more inclined to individual contributions. But, let's see what other @Islandora-CLAW/7-x-2-x-committers have to say. We can add it to the CLAW agenda if need be too.

I think that as an individual, I have no interest in PCDM. Most of my interest comes as a CLAW committer, so any work would be centered around that. I don't think the core of PCDM should be changing too much, but if we decide that PCDM is not covering our needs and we want to include something akin to HydraWorks. Then that would (IMHO) come from Islandora-CLAW as a group.

@DiegoPino @whikloj do either of you have concerns on this PR? duraspace/pcdm#49

I'm ok with it, but want to make sure the two of you are as well.

Yeah I'm fine with that PR, it just changes some descriptions. It sounds like we aren't sure if PCDM is going to serve our purposes in its current form anyways.

closing old tickets. this should be replaced with smaller, more fine grained tickets once we zero in on how we're going to build our ontologies.
