The new "Batch upload media" option is awesome, but in its current incarnation needs to be used with the following in mind: if you tag the media with "Original File", you only get one set of derivatives. In other words, not every file you upload will get its own set of derivatives. Here's a screenshot of the media for a node where I uploaded two files, with "Original File" selected:

I was expecting a set of derivatives for each file uploaded.

Related issue is #1242 in that it asks about how to render all media of a given Use where those media exist.
