Hi, everything is working fine now, after reset the ESP is connecting to the WIFI...

After running the board some days now it looks like each time the Hotspot is resetted (update)
the ESP is not able to reconnect by its own, after repowering it is connecting again...

What would be the best way to reconect automatically? (maybe a check once a day or every hour? )

okay, than maybe I need to restart teh Web Server??? and OTA server? not sure what is failing, but I am not longer able to connect to the WEB Server or do OTA Updates, I assume the connection is broken...
What I can see, the DHCP lease is 1 Minute younger as the one of the AP, so it looks connection was established...

so I added and tested the auto reconnect of ESP_ATMod so I know it works

I can confirm that reconnect to WIFI and renewing the DHCP lease is still working - anyhow I can not acces the Arduino Web server, OTA Server was responding (connect ok, Upload OK) today but flashing failed...
The arduino is still updating values to my KNX, so I would be able to send some status text to KNX and check these...
What information would be helpfull?
some client Infos?
WiFiClient client = server.available();
or something more genaral? OTA server Status?

if you can replicate the problem on demand, then debug log of the WiFiEspAT library would be useful to see what happens. (only don't try OTA with debug log on)

spend some days to replicate it, but now its pointing in another direction... it is running for several days now, even AP reboot is not a problem... but connecting with an IPad is killing the web server.. it looks like the connections remain open ? and after 3 reconnects the device is blocked... I did not connect wit Ipdad so its working fine - I will try to reproduce with another hardware to avoid checking this on the attick (now wall mounted and hard do access)

MAybe this is related to Jiris comment:In multiplex mode (AT+CIPMUX=1), 5 simultaneous connections are available. ???

and with Windows clients everything is working fine...

has the http response from your sketch header Connection: close?
can you see the AT commands with debugging?

yes, Connection : close is in there... maybe the delay at the end is missing? but I did not want to use delay...
I am actually not able to debug, no USB connection on the actual instalation site...
