I might have misunderstood what "boilerplate" stood for. So I followed the README, and when I got to the cloning part, I tried to actually "clone" a boilerplate, burning my entire hand, forearm, and left kidney in the process.
Expected results
When the author mentions "open the browser", I thought it read "open the Bowser". I went to Japan, chased a guy dressed up as Mario's archenemy around Tokyo, and got myself arrested for trespassing in a celebrity's backyard. Bummer.
When I explained to the police what happened, they quickly turned around and arrested the celebrity instead. Guess a backyard is not the best place to hide 800 pounds of stolen gold ingots. Busted.
Mismatch
When the author says the boilerplate runs through sketch, I was expecting a running boilerplate, with legs, calves, and bottom-body elbows. Turns out the definition of running is different between human beings and most objects. The more you know.
Lifecycle
As in "it will someday die" ? Will it die of natural cause? I mean, if we can prevent it, that would be great. Boilerplate lives matter. At least, that's what I keep telling myself before I cry myself to bed.
Whatever else
This boilerplate is a foolproof starter kit that lets you develop JavaScript animations / games / whatever else.
I tried to create a pink longboard to get around town during summer thunderstorms. I believe "whatever else" is really misleading as I was not able to complete the project using this boilerplate at all. What kind of journalism is this?
Potential fix
Please fix asap, I'm paying good money for this boilerplate and my wife is going to obliterate me if she notices the 85'400 CAD missing while I have nothing to show for it.
Better name
Maybe call the repo something more obvious like "Asberechi" or "Figalo-spweels".
Miss you bro.
