client names not showing in dashboards #155
Comments
well I'm not sure what to say. it's demonstrably happening for me yet it works fine in the normal adguard webui. you must know how your app differs to the webui when it comes to rendering the host names. I note that the host you show on yours is one that you have specifically created a host for within adguard. I have not done this but I assume if I did it would work , like yours, but you shouldn't need to create a defined host/client within the adguard setup to be able to see the assigned DNS names of the clients |
Are you using AdGuard Home's DNS server? In my case the device name doesn't appear on the web app if I don't create a client. |
@thefunkygibbon yes, I'm not using AdGuard Home's DHCP server. I use the DHCP server of my router. I think that names only appear when you use AdGuard Home's DHCP server. Since I don't use it, I don't have any way to test it. Probably on the app I'm printing a different parameter than the one that is used on the web app. |
Steps to reproduce

be sad
