As of 7b27e10 a global dark theme setting will be overridden. Support for dark themes remains, but one needs to set it in the settings of Go For It! (as you already should, setting a system wide gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme is a hack which only works under the assumption that applications do not use custom stylesheets).
