Title says all:
Using es_query to query ES yields no event matches that are outside of title/abstract.
In other words, currently we can deliver only medline hits.
Is pmc indexing truly saved to the same ES, as medline before?
Thoughts?

I'll look into it.

I checked a specific result hit: pmid 23437357.
Two hits are found in the abstract, e.g.

Importantly, eIF3a positively regulated NDRG1 expression and negatively regulated p27(kip1) expression during iron depletion.

Zero hits in the full text, however, it contains among others:

This suggests that eIF3a may play a role in regulating NDRG1 expression, although this hypothesis has never been examined.

Does not look too difficult. Thus, should be included in the ES index, yet it seems not to be the case.

Seems to be a problem with the ES index and the values for the fields pmid and pmcid (see issue #21).
Any results with the new and fixed esquery.py script?

No, for some reason it is still not included.
Likely it is not caused by the fields issue #21 around correct pmid and pmcid entries. The entry should have been there before as well, likely with the pmcid written in the pmid field...

This had been resolved.
As of achieving MS 0.1.1, we do not need the script anymore and can directly query the frontend.
