Entry right-click and table display #3267
Comments
This should be fixed in the latest development version. Could you please check the build from https://builds.jabref.org/maintable-beta/. Thanks! Note this version is in a very early beta stage and might not work as expected. See #3621 for further details. |
I tried to launch
Am I missing something ? |
I tried |
@LinusDietz can you confirm the problems on MacOS? |
yep. The JabRef GUI does not show up in the current There's no warning etc. macOs High Sierra 10.13.2 (17C205) |
I have the same problems with the build from https://builds.jabref.org/maintable-beta/ but when I start Jabref within the IDE everything works fine on MacOS (and traversing through the main table is really really fast 👍 compared to the old implementation) |
Maybe related to that other dmg issue? |
Nope. Running from jar, and also when self-compiling it. |
@PierreMarchand20 @chochreiner These issues should now be fixed in the most recent build from https://builds.jabref.org/maintable-beta/. |
Ouah, the new maintable is impressive 👍 no issue at first sight |
JabRef version 4 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6
I have a few bugs with the gui since 3.8 I think. To be honest, I hoped it will be solved with version 4 that is why I did not submit an issue before.
1 - when I try to do a right-click on an entry, instead of getting the line I have aimed, I get the one just above.
2 - if I modify an entry, save, and then click on another entry in the window showing all the entry of the database, this window focuses on the beginning of the database (in other words, it scrolls up while it should not). But the entry editor is on the right entry.
Notice that I use the touchpad of my MacBook Pro, not sure it is relevant.
