Latest Makefile in docker-jans-* introduces changes in CN_VERSION definition.
Prior to v1.0.4 release, CN_VERSION is set to major.minor.patch (even for bleeding-edge code). But currently, CN_VERSION is set to major.minor.patch-SNAPSHOT. Thus the dev version of the image will be set as, for example, janssenproject/auth-server:1.0.5-SNAPSHOT_dev
