Animate transitions

Is your feature request related to a problem?
When changing workspaces, the active workspace width does not animate when transitioning to a different workspace. It just abruptly changes sizes.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be awesome to be able to add animations and transitions

It works just fine without animations, but it feels not polished

Is this just for the default "dots" appearance? Idk if a smooth size transition would work for say when the workspaces are defined using either icons or numbered workspaces. I see that this could look pretty slick for the standard dots + wider dot as the default workspace indicator.

Ie top three wouldn't work with the icon changing sizes as you transition, but the bottom one would. Doesn't necessarily rule out something like a "fade-in" for the background highlighting though I guess 🤷‍♂️.

@tduarte it's pretty easy actually. Checkout these dots https://github.com/l6174/hyprdots and look for the animations section of hyprland. Since HyprPanel has names for notification, overview, etc, he set animations based on their names. So far, when click on, let's say, the notfication icon, the notification center does slide to the left and vice versa for the overview panel, but unfortunately, there is no animation when u close them. But I just the rechecked his animation video and he didn't have my problem, so likely u wont either.

And regarding your workspace issue from the last pic from @smathles i did get animation without any problems

@smathles My setup and the issue I'm having is with the example from the last screenshot you sent (where the active workspace is wider than the others).

I checked the @zielOS hyprdots Github repository and the gif in the preview also does not animate when changing workspaces. I don't think the animation section of the Hyprland config would change anything given that I'm talking about the top bar.
