Currently, alpaca does not remember the last model that was used (Tested with v3.0.1). So when restarting the app the first model (alphabetically?) is selected.

I suggest that alpaca remembers the model per conversation and introduces a function to make one model the default for new conversations.

Hi, the selected model is the last one that responded in the selected chat, to change which model is selected in new chats go to preferences and select the default model there

Sorry i forgot to check the settings for a default option.
But as far as remembering goes that did not work for me. So there might be a bug.

I will test in more detail after christmas. Thanks for the fast reply.
