Bug Report Checklist

  • I have tried restarting my IDE and the issue persists.
  • I have pulled the latest main branch of the repository.
  • I have searched for related issues and found none that matched my issue.

Overview

Right now, created files are written to disk with a recursive writeStructure/writeStructureWorker system:

export async function writeStructure(options: Options) {
await writeStructureWorker(
await createStructure(options, isUsingCreateEngine()),
".",
);
try {
// https://github.com/JoshuaKGoldberg/create-typescript-app/issues/718
await $`chmod ug+x .husky/pre-commit`;
} catch {
// https://github.com/JoshuaKGoldberg/create-typescript-app/issues/1195
}
}

This is something that can come from create. Pending using full "Runner" APIs (#1760), this is a good start.
