I have made a feature request to Barebones (publisher of BBEdit) regarding supporting syntax checking of Julia.

They replied as follows:

Support for syntax checking in the Julia language module would need to be added by the module's developer; it's not something we can do. I encourage you to file an issue and we'll be happy to assist the module's developer in the event they have any questions.
