Syntax cheatsheet #2567
Comments
What? I am guessing that you want some kind of a quick reference for Hacker School - but it would be nice to at least have a one line description in the issue when filed. |
This was a marker for filling in later so I didn't forget. The idea is a one or two page reference where you can see all of the Julia syntax at a glance without much explanation. Seems like a good idea to me. |
Yes, this is certainly a good idea. |
I presume we still want this, but not necessarily for 0.2. |
Though mine was less a syntax cheatsheet and more about the libraries. |
There is this https://github.com/john9631/JuliaDocs |
This is really cool! I would love to get this onto our website, and link it from our documentation. The actual content will probably keep evolving. We can close this issue once we figure out where to put this. |
I would have loved it if we can autogenerate this, rather than having an openoffice file. Perhaps there a latex package for creating cheatsheets. |
There are plenty of resources for new users now, and while we need better material, it is not clear what specific thing needs to happen here. Closing for now. |
