Send response when time finish without click "save"

About the time limit for giving a response, it would be possible to add configuration for allowing that if response is marked, it be sent when time finish even if student do not click the "save" button? Some of my students report that "save" button do not work and response is not sent (although time has not ended when they try to click "save").

I agree that this would be useful.
I am afraid it will be difficult to implement because the timer runs on the server while the submission is initiated by the client. I do not know, though. It is worth looking into.

Will look more into the problem and see if there could be a solution to this. Should the problems mentioned above be present, this issue would be difficult to solve.
