Disposing Knockout Validation Observables

I see there is a _disposeValidation method, which works great for me to clean up memory. I guess there is just a hesitation for me to use it as it begins with an _.

Is there a better way to dispose of these, or perhaps the method should be renamed?

We are using it as well, KO validation consumes a lot of memory.
