I'm trying to send heat, cool, off on a thermostat that has runing_state on/off. I got it by using globalstore, saving the system_mode and when it is on, it depends on the system_mode to output heat or cold. This usually works fine, but when you restart z2m the globalstore values are lost and it stops working until it sends a new system_mode. Is there a way to use state.json or something similar to make that value persist?
