According to a user report, the connection hangs right after the Shield is found showing the progress dialog with "Connecting to Tecla Shield TeclaShieldUno-XXXX"

This issue is related to #83 and may be necessary to report it on the device compatibility wiki at:
http://wiki.mobile-accessibility.idrc.ocad.ca/w/Tecla_Access/Device_Compatibility
