Querying status JSON via BLE

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to query for the camera status JSON via BLE. I know it is possible via wifi as has been documented here (https://github.com/KonradIT/goprowifihack/blob/master/HERO5/HERO5-Commands.md), but couldn't find a way to achieve it, even though the bluetooth documentation here (https://gethypoxic.com/blogs/technical/gopro-hero5-interfaces) suggests there is a characteristic for this purpose.

Maybe not JSON, but you can query the complete status via BLE.
I investigated quite a lot for my iPhone App. You can see a demo in my latest video: https://youtu.be/VUbDPDxKDdU?t=1204

Thanks, both. This is excellent work. Perhaps I should clarify that the status I am interested in querying is the current settings for e.g. shutter speed, ISO, WB, etc.
