Colors issue on bar charts. Only uses first color

No matter what I try I cant get it to use multiple colors like the documentation suggests. It only uses the first color

I've even tried with gradients with no luck

I can't see what your series data looks like. In order to use multiple colors, each bar must be represented as a different category. See the example here:
