How do I get a border color of more than 1 pixel?

The color are working:

but the border is a single pixel that can be hard to see.

I've played with these but they appear to affect the distance between panes rather than anything related to the color border:

I was missing "border_padding".
I guess this is one of those "restart required" options, as I'm not seeing any change with vs. without that option.
Will bounce later. I'm trying to hold it all together as my daily driver.

• 4 concurrent projects, each with jira, intellij, shell sessions, and many chome tabs, plus splits for 3 different google accounts.
• Until I get the fine tuning for default placement done I'm trying hard not to restart.

Heres' a wish-list item - a context scanner that builds out sample monitor/workspace arrays from open sessions :)

Didn't make it the whole day without a restart.
That said, the reshuffle to put everything back where it belongs is a damn side easier than without.

...and the border is much improved.

I couldn't close up the gap between them though.
I don't have a good feel for what these values actually do as it seemed like
"border_width": 10,
"border_offset": -5,
both impacted each other.
Adding to one seems to subtract from the other and vice-versa.

I think you need to change these settings to get the windows closed to each other (there is a default value of 10 that you seemingly want to change)

  "default_workspace_padding": 5,
  "default_container_padding": 5,
