Yes, you can delete it. But I'd actually be interested in it, to better understand what was wrong with it. Is this an installation which has been around for a few years? There was at some point an issue with the database file which could cause "infinite" growth. That was changed at some point, but IIRC it really required deletion of the file, as the necessary configuration could not be changed after the file had been created. |

This installation is around for many years (the Duet was new at the time). One of my guesses were saved internet radio cover arts, but I assume they would have been stored in e.g. cache db. (The latest version does not seem to cache them but direct the client to the original source. This caused some pain on one client which was not allowed internet access.) |

Hello,
I was quite late to switch to this version and was using the old LMS till recently.
During the update I noticed that my Database file is at 20 GB, the Library contains 117515 Titels (acording to LMS).
Is this a normal file size?
I tried to clean it by ruinng a new scan with the "delete database" option, but the file does not get smaller.
Can I delete this file and LMS will rescan the database or does this file contain more than the library?
