this would in theory make it quite easy for users like Claus (who contacted peanutbase about this use case) to download the sequences corresponding to the set of hits against proteins or transcript dbs (hits to genomes might possibly also be handled via a link to the genomicRegionSearch page).

this could perhaps be done by use of a set-oriented version of the linkout service (which would make things less tightly coupled than linking directly to the mines).
