Single hotkey to create note and choose between the defined folders

It would be great if there was a global hotkey which would trigger a popup, similar to the Command Palette, so that we could pick between the various folders which we've defined. The workflow I imagine is: Trigger the hotkey, then pick a folder via the mouse, or arrow keys then enter. Currently, a hotkey must be assigned to folders individually (useful in some circumstances). A single hotkey to pick between all defined folders would be appreciated.
