Updates on this,
We got James the mechanic who found that lots of connections in the engine were wrong and needed to be corrected. Aftert the correction we found that the vehicle needed the following
Front disc brake setup to be safe to use
An accelerator cable
Brakes pipes
A handbrake cable
These will be installed today, then we can review the status of the car running reliably
Expected Behavior
Our Datsun 1200 Bakkie should start up reliably whenever we use the Key to start it.
Actual Behavior
At the moment rarely does the Datsun start when we use the Ignition Key to start it, Usually we have to bump start
or use another to jump it
Steps to Reproduce the Problem
More Info
We suspect that the fuel pump on the Datsun is faulty and keeps blowing up hence giving the vehicle a hard start whenever we try to start it.
