I was able to successfully compile debug and release builds (x86 and x64) under Windows 11 23H2. No errors in the Visual Studio 2022 build log.
However, all builds produce a "WordPad.exe" file with a generic icon, and when I run this it crashes during launch - nothing is even visible and I had to search for the crash logs.
See attached crash report log, which is from a debug build of the x86 version. It does not appear to be related to my antivirus, Bitdefender is allowing it to run.
