Update Nvidia Drivers in Mining OS
Remember that in case you update using a USB 2.0 it could take really a long time, normally USB 3.0 are quite fast and HDD and SSD the faster.
Just go to select Remote Console or use a ssh with putty.
- User is miner
- Password by default is mmpOS
Type mmp nvidia-install
It is recommended for LHR to use 470.103.01 (option 2 (Default)) or option 4 the lastest Nvidia 510.xx, in case you have 3060v1 then please select 460.39
There are two ways of doing it:
- Run Command and write directly nvidia-driver-update 470.103.01 that way we can not see what's happening and we don't know if there is a problem
- The 2nd option is to open a Hive Shell to control it better.
We should click in the new blue line that shows Hive Shell
And search in the new windows for the blue line and click on it:
Type nvidia-driver-update 470.103.01 it will take time, depending on your Hard Disk and it will also get sometime in the DKMS at 5%.
