iPhone Performace #8
Comments
I have upgraded to 2.4. Unrelated, uninstalled 2.3, and had to install 2.4 twice. Problems persist. I was incorrect in my comment about the scan button. It is in the frame for the radio 0 on the far right out of view. I have 2 radios installed (1 USB device). It never displays the second radio or the Associated Stations section. I have a similar issue on the Overview screen, where there is nothing below IPv4 wan status, and the text "Collecting Data" is cut off horizontally about the mid line of the letter e, however after a few minutes it got down to the first DHCP lease. There may be others, but it is challenging to use. It also appears that the "GO" button on the keyboard does not initiate a login, and I need to press the Login button, but have not tested this under Bootstrap yet. |
I have Upgraded to 2.6.1 Basic problems above persist, however I am now unable to scroll at all through the expansion menu. I have to collapse it and then open the lower elements to get to their menus. |
Sorry, I'm trying to solve the problem of the iPhone. |
please let me know if you need any more details or if I can test something. I unfortunately do not have any other devices to test the theme with. It is not clear if anyone else is trying to run on a device in this class. Thanks Steven |
@Ranger-Z I fix some safari style bug in version 0.2.10, you can test it and if you have any questions please tell me. thank you very much. |
I added the theme to another machine (2) GUI issues persist on both machines. Also I have a picture of the incomplete render. The grey bar is seen on an iPhone by dragging up the window. The content may be more than can fit on a screen, before the render stops. The final window is the wireless screen. As you can see while readable it does not show the buttons with out scrolling. One of my big hopes from the theme was to simplify the access to the wireless config from a smart phone. First it requires easy navigation, which once working is accomplished. The second may not be attainable, unless the specific page is laid out differently. I would be happy with item 1 |
I have reopened this, as it was not my intent to close it. I did not understand the Button Functions. |
@Ranger-Z I fix some safari style bug in version 0.2.13, you can test it. thank you very much. |
I have tested the 2.15 version. This appears to have fixed the menu\navigation issues. Page loading is still problematic. Under Bootstrap pages will load in 5-10 seconds, but under Material it can be a minute or more. Sometimes I think it is hung. The icon does not spin. Once a page loads, it takes additional time until the data is updated. During this period the full page may not display as before, but given enough time it seems to complete. Again more minutes. |
I am using an iPhone4 with IOS7 and have installed the theme on a HooToo TM02 rotuer.
Free memory is 15/10/5, 8 flash, 32 ram, 360 Mhz CPU

V2.3
The theme operates acceptable on a PC browser, but has performance problems on the iPhone. Issues include
Slow login
Pages time out or load slow
Pages not rendering completely even after refresh. Not seeing the Scan button on WIFI, but see the radio.
Flicking not working, must keep a finger on the page to scroll. I am having difficulty accurately selecting items in the Network section, but I think that this has to do with flick issues.
Problems seem marginally worse on Google than on Safari.
Unrelated, following the instructions when I logged into LuCi the them was already active. I did not need to select it.
