I can offer testing on FreeBSD 13.1 :)
It does not like tomatoshell very much because it's date implementation does not like the double-dashed parameters.

I like the idea of tomatoshell being written in pure POSIX sh. At the moment I don't have the time to look more into this. It appears that there are no good alternatives to some BASH (read -t) and GNU date extensions.
