To quote Google’s recent email update regarding this issue: “No action is required on your part as apps using OOB in testing mode will not be affected by this change.”

And if you missed the deadline? Can you change your existing project to Testing and it will work again???

I was not even aware of this happening. I had a family member reach out regarding not being able to access any content on the plex server. I'm not sure what all of my actions were necessary but I did get things working again.

It wasn't until I flipped the switch on the OAuth consent screen settings that things started to work. Since it's just me managing the project it was fine, this may be different if you have others mucking about in the project though. After that, I redeployed the mounts for rClone and started scanning libraries and content started coming back up and was accessible again.

So, I would say that changing this setting in your existing project to Testing works, it did for me 🙂
