Document a glossary #13
Comments
+1. FWIW, the ISO document contains "Terms and definitions" clause where many abbreviated terms are defined, and we need to collect the remaining items ... e.g. I am not entirely sure what is meant by MOFF and who invented this one. Some TLAs may be well known (e.g. ISO), others names like MPEG have become household items without exact knowledge what the acronym stands for (Moving Pictures Experts Group, which was an accurate name back in mid-90s of last century, but their work is much more diverse these days). Good idea! |

There are many acronyms bandied about. ISO, MPEG, AHG, WG, OT, MSOT, OFF, MOFF, WOFF, VOLT, FEA, FEE...
We need a glossary :)
