Recording hotkey does not work under Wayland

Steps to reproduce

• Start GNOME /w Wayland
• Start SSR
• Enable recording hot key at the last app screen
• Execute the hotkey combination to trigger the screen recording

Expected:

• SSR kicks in

Actual:

• Nothing

This issue only occurs with Wayland backend.

In 4 months, the most used linux distribution (Ubuntu) will be shipping with Wayland as default. If working with Wayland will be implemented by then, it would be very helpful for all of us using it as it seems that most distributions are moving to Wayland now (Fedora has done it for a while already etc.).
