While streaming audio, there are intermittent gaps in audio playback. I've noticed that the pause icon which shows while the audio is playing changes to the "stop" icon while the gap is happening.
This doesn't appear to be caused by the file not downloading fast enough, the file can have 20 meg downloaded and be 2 minutes in, and it still happens.
One thing I've seen in logcat that appears at a suspiciously similar time that the gaps occur is:
