Hi,

I tested the whisper-diarization on my Mac M1, and I have to say I was a bit surprised by how slow it was. For example, for a 2-minutes audio file (wav), whisper-diarization takes around 10 minutes to transcribe.

If I use the whisper version with the turbo model, this same wav file is transcribed in 30 seconds on this same Mac.

Is there any way of optimising?
Is there a way (configuration) so that template downloads don't recur (every time I relaunch, it re-downloads the templates...)?

Is there an optimal version for Mac M1 (Metal)?
