Pass attributes to generic object method thru API

How to access attributes passed to generic object's method thru API from method's code?

We call some method as descibed in documentation and pass some parameters to it

But can't access them from $evm.object['attribute'], $evm.root['attribute'], $evm.inputs['attribute']. Are we missing something? We're using lasker release.

Can you do $evm.vmdb["GenericObject"].find(101). Since they are stored as records in the database, you would query them like other vmdb objects.

We can access generic object attributes thru $evm.root['generic_object'].attribute_name. It's all OK there.

But we are trying to call generic object's method by API with some parameters (as described here https://www.manageiq.org/docs/reference/latest/api/reference/generic_objects.html).

F.e. we've got a generic object Network with attribute netmask and method update_netmask. Calling API

And we can't access "new_netmask" inside method's code. $evm.root['net_netmask'], $evm.object['net_netmask'], $evm.inputs['net_netmask'] don't work.
