I can't see any downloads for v390, which unfortunately is the one I need.

I see the message on the front page:

^: Removed, you may want to look at forked to see previous versions.

I do not understand what that means. :-(

I think this means that 390 has been removed. You can check the forked repositories here: https://github.com/MeowIce/nvidia-legacy/forks. Some users have forked this repository, and in those forks, 390 is still available.

The v390 .run file isn't in any of those repositories.

In Davilarek, Energy Pantrikhu and MeowIce's repositories there's only a 134 bytes stub file instead of the 121 MB real executable:

https://github.com/Davilarek/nvidia-legacy/blob/390.151/5.18/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.151-5.18.run
https://github.com/energypatrikhu/nvidia-legacy/blob/390.151/5.18/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.151-5.18.run
https://github.com/MeowIce/nvidia-legacy/blob/390.151/5.18/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.151-5.18.run

And the 390 folder of Sourceforge repository is empty:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/nvidia-legacy/files/390.151/

Those small .run files are references to the actual files in Git LFS. If you haven't installed Git, you need to do so first. Then, install Git LFS and clone the repository. Git LFS automatically downloads the files during or after cloning the repository.

Thanks for the answer (I'm not very familiarized with GIT). I tried:
git lfs clone --branch 390.151 https://github.com/MeowIce/nvidia-legacy.git
...but it didn't download the 121MB .run but the 134 byte stub. Seemingly, the repository reached the data quota:

batch response: This repository is over its data quota. Account responsible for LFS bandwidth should purchase more data packs to restore access.

EDIT: I found a trick to avoid the data limit and get the .run.
