Marking properties as readonly prevents them from being reassigned when we don't want or expect them to be: https://typescript-eslint.io/rules/prefer-readonly/

We can also consider enabling @typescript-eslint/prefer-readonly-parameter-types: https://typescript-eslint.io/rules/prefer-readonly-parameter-types/
