When an SMS shows up on my Metawatch:

  1. it's smashed waaay up against the top of the display so I have to view it at an extreme angle to see the message
  2. it stays on the phone for about 2 seconds... just long enough to get the phone tipped far enough to see the message but not long enough to actually read it at least half the time
  3. the font is tiny! so hard to read in reverse/regular B/W display

Please put SMS messages

  1. lower on the screen,
  2. for longer,
  3. in bigger type

Thanks!

I've changed the text in my build of MWM to center the notification text horizontally and vertically, which makes it much easier to read. There's already an option to set how long the notifications stay open (at least in Craig's MWM there is)

I'll add an option to use a larger font for notifications too.

Actually, I just noticed there's already a "font size" option in MWM too, that makes the notification text bigger - not sure if that's an addition of Craig's or if it's in the official version.

Font size adjustment is in Craig's MWM v. 1.3 -- I'm using it now and it's great! Not sure if it's in the stock MWM version
