build performance problems

We currently face some problems with meteor built time and the new build profile package revealed that this package is responsible for a huge part of our build time (30s with- and ~70s without package-cache).

I honestly have no idea what the reason could be. We don't use a lot of css (actually we use jss and all css we still use is legacy code), so I guess it's not really related to the css minification process at all.

Do you also see it with rebuild times (dev mode), are only production builds?

I think only on production builds (have to properly benchmark it though).
I suspect meteor/meteor#10260 is somehow related related - at a first glance it seems to improve the build time with this package, but it might be a coincidence(only did a single run).
