Markdown Editor Readability Improvements

I need to do some write up of math formulas and find it hard to write them in the markdown editor. Everything is so small and the font does not give good feedback if I used '' (2 ') or " (double quote).

So I'd like to have

• Monospaced font
• bigger font size
