Dark theme setting lost for matplotlib after kernel restart in Interactive Window #3428

  1. VS Code in a Dark theme (I used standard Dark+)
  2. Run a matplotlib plot in the Interactive Window
  3. Verify that plot is visible and dark themed
  4. Restart the kernel
  5. Run the plot again

Expected: Plot is still dark themed
Actually: Plot is now light themed and hard to see.
