Mac 3.7 Jupyter Debugger tests are currently hitting this issue:
microsoft/ptvsd#1587

As the fix might take a bit we're disabling them for now in this PR:
microsoft/vscode-python#6645

since I have the same symptom as in microsoft/ptvsd#1587 I cannot debug any python Program anymore.
my Config:
macOS
vscode Version: 1.37.0
Python 3.7.3
error: Unable to find threadStateIndex for the current thread. curPyThread: 0x7f94dad05ee0
macOS 10.14.6 (18G87)

As a note, this issue is now fixed in the latest ptvsd.
