+++ title = "Registration" +++
The summer school will be held between August 12th (Monday) and August 18th (Sunday), 2024, at the Mount Ida campus of University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Classes will be held morning and afternoon on Mon-Fri, small hackathons will be held after dinner on Mon-Fri, and there will be a main hackathon wrap-up and potential project presentations on Saturday and Sunday morning.
The registration fee of 390$ covers lodging from the evening of August 11th (Sunday) to the morning of August 18th (Sunday). A dinning hall is available on campus, but not included in the price. The dinning system of UMass Amherst's central campus has been winning Best Campus Food in the entirety of the US higher ed system for the better part of the last decade.
The main registration period is now closed, but a waitlist is available. If you do not need on-campus lodging, you can still register below as an independent attendee.

If there is demand, we can make seats available to folks who want to attend the classes but want to find alternative lodging on their own. Please express your interest in this form if you would like to attend in this manner. Registration for such attendance might require a small nominal fee (under $50).
If you are an undergraduate interested in participating in the summer school, please apply through this online form.
If you are admitted your registration fee will be waived. We will attempt to provide travel grants as well.
If the cost of the event or travel to the event is prohibitive, please message the organizers at skrastanov@umass.edu with a brief description of your background in the field and the reasons for your interest in the summer school. We will attempt to provide travel grants, as long as you have the baseline quantum science knowledge to take advantage of the summer school.
If we can provide travel grants, there will be NO requirement to prove the cost of the event is prohibitive for grant applicants.
