Following on from an issue raised over on the Hidden Bar GitHub repo, @gingerbeardman informs me that this functionality (hiding the left-hand application menu when menu bar icons would otherwise be hidden by it) is possible in Dozer. I've installed the most recent official release (4.0.0) but can't find a toggle to enable the functionality anywhere. Am I simply missing it or must I be using one of the newer pre-releases? Cheers!

Hi! Yes you need to use pre-release 4.2.0 and you'll see the feature listed in the release notes. History of it at #111

https://github.com/Mortennn/Dozer/releases

@Mortennn any thoughts about marking that version as latest?

You absolute star, @gingerbeardman, thank you (for pointing me in the right direction and for creating that feature)! It works a charm and has saved me a fair bit of cash I'd otherwise have had to spend on the proprietary Bartender.

Yes, it'd be great if 4.2.0 could be made the latest version, not least because then it could be installed using Homebrew. Looks like 4.2.0 needs to be notarised by Apple too...

Yes, indeed.

Until then, enjoy.
