App sometimes causes Oculus Home to crash when trying to resume from network loss #1414

Steps to reproduce :

  1. Launch the app
  2. Browse to any video streaming site (ex : Youtube)
  3. Play any video
  4. While the video is playing, press the Oculus button on the right controller to bring up the dash
  5. From the Oculus dash, select Settings
  6. Select Wifi
  7. Turn Wifi off while the app is paused
  8. Select Navigate Library
  9. Resume app
  10. Leave the network error message on screen
  11. Resume video playback

Results (2/10) :
Oculus Home crashes with an error message.

Expected results :
App installs and runs without crashing or freezing.

Notes :

  1. Please see attached log
  2. Due to the rare occurence of this issue, a video cannot be provided
  3. This issue was entered against Oculus Quest guidelines, Functionality subsection, which states :
    "[VRC.Quest.Functional.1] App must install and run without crashes, freezes, or extended unresponsive states."
