Vehicle Boxes not opening?

So basically I am playing on a server with my friends, we've got the vehicle mod and obfuscate installed. Whenever we try to spawn vehicles, they don't open. We used a wrench on the top part of the boxes but they still wouldn't open. None of us have this issue on singleplayer worlds though.

Any known fixes?
