I am running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I have just started m2s to check one sample example under x86. It is giving the error FATAL: kernel too old.

When I compile to generate a new binary and test it again, it is giving a different error as follows.

Inconsistency detected by ld.so: rtld.c: 1266: dl_main: Assertion `GL(dl_rtld_map).l_libname' failed!

Example 2 is giving the following error.

[ELF Reader] [/multi2sim/samples/x86/example-2/m2s] Error: Cannot open file

Please tell me if this error can be solved. I do not know if this project is still active but still asking my question for possible help.

Thanks.

You can use Docker to solve the problem.
